Understanding Kredete's ACH Submission Cutoff Times and Settlement Windows
Overview
The Automated Clearing House (ACH) network processes transactions in designated windows throughout the business day. Kredete supports multiple Same Day and Next Day ACH processing windows to facilitate timely fund transfers for our clients.
ACH Processing Windows
Kredete submits ACH entries to the Federal Reserve based on the following schedule:

Key Considerations
- Submission Timing: To ensure processing in the desired window, submit ACH entries at least 30 minutes before Kredete's specified submission deadlines.
- Settlement Times: Settlement times indicate when funds are expected to be available in the recipient's bank account. Same Day ACH entries settle on the same business day, while Next Day ACH entries settle on the following business day.
- Upcoming Support: Kredete plans to expand support for additional Next Day ACH windows in the near future.
ACH Transaction Statuses
Incoming ACH Transactions:
- Pending: Transaction has been initiated but not yet processed.

- Failed: Transaction could not be processed; funds were not transferred.
Outgoing ACH Transactions:

- Submitted: Transaction has been submitted to the ACH network for processing.
- Settled: Funds have been successfully transferred to the recipient's bank.
- Returned: Transaction was returned by the recipient's bank; funds have been credited back to the sender's account.
